Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food (HAPIH) is a national institution dedicated to advancing agriculture, food safety, research, and sustainable agricultural development in Croatia. Through its specialized centres and expert teams, HAPIH provides scientific and technical support in areas including livestock breeding, plant production, food safety, seed and plant protection, and quality control of agricultural products. The Agency conducts research, supports evidence-based agricultural policy development, and provides expertise to producers, industry stakeholders, and public authorities. By combining scientific knowledge, laboratory infrastructure, and educational activities, HAPIH contributes to the improvement, competitiveness, and sustainability of Croatian agriculture.
Role in the project
HAPIH supports knowledge transfer and ensures the practicality and regional relevance of project outputs in Croatia. Contributes specific expertise in wool property characterisation and standardisation.
