Role in the project
ADU is responsible for phenotyping and genotyping data collection from local Turkish sheep herds. Contributes to large-scale data integration and calculation of herd heat resistance scores (hHRS). Leads bioinformatics analyses related to SNP discovery and contributes to the design of a new SNP chip. Develops and tests breeding programmes for local and global breeds.
